Crossing the Border Norway to Sweden North of Oslo (16:50 and the post is closed) so just ride on The Lack of Traffic is great (but a bit strange if you are used to Britain)

At least the next morning it had stopped raining (for a while)
Breakfast (and the sun is shining) still no traffic (Great) The lack of traffic is brilliant (breakfast was ok to)
A quick stretch of the legs later in the morning. we have seen maybe a dozen cars & ten million pine trees. mid morning snack .........
The first Frozen lake (the temperature is about 5c) We have now seen 20 cars and 20 milion pine trees. The road suface is good the traffic is non-existant and we are making good time today
Can you believe this traffic (or lack of it) some of the best biking I have ever done. If you like pine trees you will love Sweden
Almost 19:00 so we find a camp site by a partly frozen lake. The site is closed but we stay any way The site has a number of "hytta" (huts to you and I) small wooden houses. Note the gathering storm clouds, we had better cook some food quickly.
Home sweet home (for tonight) At least its not raining (Neil in stupid pose)
Rise and Shine ...... and the lake is still frozen Next day, Mike tries to photograph reighndeer (but they are too fast for him). You can still stand in the middle of the road in relative safety.
9:45 and we have made it to the Artic Circle (guess what ... the visitor centre is closed until June, but the heated toilets were open) Mike at the Arctic Circle (SWEDEN)

The Border post Sweden to Finland (guess what ...its closed..so just drive in) Even less traffic in Finland than in Sweden. (This evening we drove another 58 miles before stopping we saw 13 vehicles).
